Skill Development Courses (SDCs) and Workshops are offered by BSAC to supplement the core training in the BSAC Diver Training Program in order to expand the overall diving experience and to introduce special interest areas.
The following SDCs and Workshops are those within the skills, knowledge & qualification of the BSAC Adelaide instruction team to teach and that are generally applicable both to South Australian diving conditions and the club's needs. Additional SDCs are offered by the other Australian Branches and the BSAC Australian Regional Coaching Team.

Oxygen Administration
Instruction in the administration of oxygen as a first aid treatment for diving accidents. This SDC is usually taught as part of the DL course (refer below). Entry grade – OD.
